Jean is an experienced marketing designer and consultant, crafting smart, emerging, technology-focused marketing initiatives for small and medium enterprises all over North America in a diverse array of industries. An experienced speaker and trainer, Jean has been a guest lecturer at St. Mary's, Dalhousie University, and Nova Scotia Community College. He has delivered lecture series on behalf of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency in locations throughout the Atlantic region.

In 2004, Jean was recognized by the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia at its annual general meeting for "contributions to the profession" for his work in the development of the association’s online portal.

While applying his professional skills to great effect for clients, Jean also applies them tirelessly in support of his community, including as a founding member of the organizing committee and design sponsor of Celebrity Dreamscape for Phoenix Youth Programs; an eight-year run as design sponsor of the Bedford Classic basketball tournament, the largest youth basketball tournament in Canada; founder of the annual Bedford 5k to Beat Lung Cancer for the Canadian Cancer Society, now in its eighth year; and a founding member and design sponsor of the Long Pond Hockey Heritage Classic. In 2012, Jean received a Halifax Regional Municipality Volunteer Award for his ongoing volunteerism personally and professionally.
